2008 had been an incredible year for me and ArtzPhoto but I realized that I have to start this blog somewhere or I will never start so, please, allow me to tell you this exacting experience as we go into the journey.
I have to start at one point so let me do it with a great news. A couple of weeks ago PPSCF (Professional Photographers Society of Central Florida) celebrated its quarterly event of "Print Education Competition". This is an opportunity to challenge myself against the best photographers in the industry in Central Florida.
This image of this good looking couple (Charissa & Kenneth) captured on the Ballroom of Church St at Down Town Orlando was award as First Place at the Social Event Category.
The image below was honored with Second Place in the same category. It was shot at a Sikh (Indian) wedding. (Sharon & Serge's wedding). I will post more about this wedding in the future because I enjoy a lot photographing them. Their album was great so stay tune to this blog and you'll see.
The following are the two major challenges. One is an architectural photograph (this is the first time I competed in this category) and the second photo was in illustrative category (I was not sure if the judges would it like as I title "Braking the rules). Well, I could not complain. Both of them got Merit Awards.
